Dry Hair this winter??
Remember...your body needs just as much water this time of year as it does any other time of year. Try your best to drink 8 ounces of water, 8 times each day.
Go easy on the caffeine AND the alcoholic beverages...they dry your body out. Dry hair and scalp means more breakage--less growth. Black people, you can slap all kinds of grease and lotions in your hair and scalp, but believe me there is no substitute for taking care of your insides which will reflect on the condition of your hair as well.
For those tryin' to slim down, more water in your diet makes you feel full and cleanses all your "systems"-- if you know what I mean :))
If you don't like the taste of plain water,
try these additions:
Sliced Lemons or Limes
Cucumber slices (or lemons wedges and cucumber slices like Beyonce)
Even Crystal Light...hey it's cheating, but at least you'll get some water.
if anyone has any other ideas, leave them here...
